Build trust, get found, and win more customers.

Boone, NC Website Design for High Country Small Businesses

Most local businesses around here fall into one or two categories:

They don’t have a website at all…

Or they have one that’s been sitting untouched for years, acting more like a digital business card than a tool that can actually bring in work.

And that’s the PROBLEM.

When someone in the High Country needs a service/product, the first thing they do is to look you up online. If your site is hard to find, hard to understand, or looks outdated, they move on — even if yours is the better business.

A website doesn’t need to be fancy.
It doesn’t need a bunch of bells and whistles.

But it does need to look professional and credible, and clearly show what you do, who you help, and how to get in touch.

It should work for you even when you are not working—answering questions, building trust, and turning visitors into customers

If your website isn’t pulling its weight, you’re in the right place

Hi, I’m Bert.

Born and raised in the South, I live in Boone with my wife of 49 years (and college sweetheart) Nancy, and two mascot dogs. (Bear and Finley)

I’ve been building websites since 2007, and I work with local small business owners right here in the High Country.

I’ve seen lots of good businesses lose work simply because the website didn’t reflect the quality of what they do—or because they didn’t have one at all.

My goal is simple: build you a solid professional website that represents your business well and helps you bring in more work.

No fluff…No drawn-out timelines. Just a website that does its job.

What local business owners are saying

A man with a beard wearing sunglasses, a cap, a blue long-sleeve shirt, khaki cargo pants, and brown shoes, leaning against a concrete block wall outdoors on a sunny day.

“I started working with BigMacDaddy Design a couple of years ago. Since that time, we’ve made significant strides in our online presence.

The website design, content management, and SEO have dramatically increased our top-line revenue and bottom-line profit.

Our partnership with BigMacDaddy Design has been nothing short of exceptional. The company has helped us create a visually stunning and user-friendly website that has attracted more customers and boosted our sales. Their content management services have also kept our website up-to-date and relevant.”

BigMacDaddy Design provided exceptional customer service from the very start.

Their team was consistently responsive, attentive, and easy to work with, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. They took the time to truly understand our goals, answered questions clearly, and offered thoughtful suggestions that improved the final outcome.

What really set BigMacDaddy Design apart was its commitment to communication and follow-through. The finished work not only met our expectations—it exceeded them.

We felt valued as a client and confident that our project was in great hands. We would gladly recommend BigMacDaddy Design to anyone seeking high-quality website design and outstanding customer service.

BigMacDaddy Design was incredibly patient and supportive throughout our website project. They didn’t just build the site—they took the time to explain the process, answer questions, and teach us the best practices for structuring and managing our website moving forward. Their guidance made everything feel approachable, even for someone with a limited technical background.

What stood out most was their willingness to slow down, listen, and make sure we fully understood each step before moving on. They genuinely cared about helping us make informed decisions, not just finishing the project quickly.

The result is a website we’re proud of and confident using, thanks to BigMacDaddy Design’s expertise, patience, and outstanding customer service. We highly recommend them to any business looking for both great design and a true partner in the process.
